Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’

  • Pay Level 10

  • ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month

    minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84

  • OR B.Sc degree with
    minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5

Discipline-wise PhD Requirement

  • RF and Microwave
    PhD in RF and Microwave Engineering or closely related fields

  • Wireless / Satellite / Digital Communication
    PhD in Electronics and Communication / Wireless / Satellite / Digital Communication related areas

  • Agricultural Physics / Agricultural Meteorology
    PhD in Agricultural Physics / Agricultural Meteorology or related disciplines

Note: For Agricultural disciplines, MSc/MS-based academic paths are allowed, provided the same percentage/CGPA thresholds are met.


B. Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’

Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant specialization, with appropriate undergraduate background, as described below discipline-wise.
