MPPSC State Civil Service Recruitment 2026 – 155 Vacancies

Before applying for the MPPSC State Civil Services Examination 2026, candidates must carefully verify whether they meet the educational, age, and physical standards prescribed in the notification. Eligibility is calculated as on 01 January 2026, and even a small mismatch can lead to rejection at later stages.

Educational Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for MPPSC State Service 2026, candidates must fulfill the following academic conditions:

• Graduate Degree:
  Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, etc., from a recognized university.

• Final Year Candidates:
  Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are allowed to apply for the Preliminary Examination.
  However, they must submit proof of passing the degree examination before the deadline for submitting the Main Examination application form.

Age Limit Criteria (As on 01.01.2026)

Age eligibility varies depending on the nature of the post.

• Minimum Age:
  21 years for all posts.

• Maximum Age (Non-Uniformed Posts):
  40 years.

• Maximum Age (Uniformed Posts such as DSP / Excise):
  33 years.

Age Relaxation Provisions

The following relaxations are applicable as per eligibility rules:

• 5 years age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, Women, Government Employees, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who are domiciles of Madhya Pradesh.

• 3 years age deduction benefit for Ex-Servicemen.

Physical Standards (For Uniformed Posts Only)

Physical requirements apply only to specific uniformed services and are mandatory.

• Male Candidates:

  • Height: 168 cm

  • Chest: 84 cm (unexpanded) – 89 cm (expanded)

• Female Candidates:

  • Height: 155 cm

Note: Physical standards are compulsory for posts such as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Assistant Jail Superintendent, and Excise Sub-Inspector.
