UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern, Exam Syllabus 2023: PET Exam Dates Out, Admit Card

Knowing the UPSSSC PET syllabus is highly necessary to prepare for and clear the UPSSSC Preliminary Examination Test. The UPSSSC PET is a yearly exam conducted to recruit individuals in various Group C Category posts in the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. Students appearing for the 2023 UPSSSC PET will need to know the syllabus in detail before beginning to prepare for the exam. On that note, here are some details of the UPSSSC PET syllabus 2023.

UP PET 2023 Selection Process 

The UPSSSC PET is the preliminary test that candidates need to clear to be eligible for recruitment to various Group C posts of the UP Government. Candidates who apply for the UPSSSC PET Exam will have to undergo the following stages as part of the overall selection to the respective post.

  • Scoring minimum qualifying marks in PET written exam
  • Main Exam of the concerned post
  • Interview/Skill Test (if applicable)
  • Document Verification

UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern 2023

It is important for every candidate to go through the UPSSSC PET Exam Pattern. The exam pattern will give candidates a detailed overview of factors like marks, number of questions, timing etc. Thus, candidates will be able to prepare for the exam accordingly. The detailed exam pattern as per the recent notice released for the UPSSSC PET is as follows:

  • The exam will consist of objective type multiple choice questions
  • A total of 100 such questions will be asked.
  • The duration of the exam shall be 2 hours.
  • Wrong answers will result in a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
  • The difficulty of questions for topics from sr. no. 1 to 9 shall be as per NCERT Secondary/Senior Secondary level.
